Dale Maguire

Founder/Managing Director

High Calibre Racing is headed up by Dale Maguire.

Dale had the vision, passion and drive to create High Calibre Racing with the dream of both success on the track and more importantly an enjoyable and rewarding experience for his owners.

Dale has been involved in the racing industry, through ownership for 20 years. In that time, he has learnt valuable knowledge about the ownership experience and what is most important to owner and horse.

Above all, Dale brings a friendly and likable personality to Racing Syndication and he can be relied upon to put his horse and owners first.

Matt Langley

Not your typical racing industry bio but Matt is not your ‘typical’ racing industry employee! 'Langers' has spent the last 20 years in the healthcare industry, and for the last 13 years he has held executive/leadership positions focused on building team performance and culture.

Matt embodies our vision ‘Dream Big’; his passion and energy is infectious, and he comes into the HCR team dedicated to helping our owners create memories and experiences that will last a lifetime.

Matt, like Dale is a sport’s tragic who loves his thoroughbreds and being on track when his horses’ salute. He leads our business development, partnerships, and syndicate sales opportunities – so If you are looking to team up with us as an owner or business partner, he is your man.

Here at HCR we are committed to building a stable of winners both on and off the track, Matt fits that brief. He looks forward to meeting you all and sharing your racing journeys!

Jim Clarke

Bloodstock Consultant

We are extremely lucky to add Jim Clarke to the High Calibre Racing Team, throughout his career Jim has worked alongside and been mentored by some of the world’s leading industry professionals including trainers Peter Snowden, Charlie Appleby, Bjorn Baker. In 2015, Jim joined the senior management team at Godolphin in the UK, the world’s largest breeding and racing operation. His role saw him work globally across all facets of racing and bloodstock management.

Jim has worked with racehorse owners, breeders and trainers all over the world to help them get the most value and enjoyment out of their horses. While each role, horse and client has been unique in their requirements, he has made it a priority to make a name for himself as an agent who is not only knowledgeable, but acts with transparency, integrity and honesty. It is these values that have become the cornerstone of Clarke Bloodstock and established Jim as a reputable, sought-after bloodstock agent and consultant.

Erin Maguire

Erin, proudly married to our founder Dale, brings a unique blend of professional expertise and an intimate understanding of our company’s journey. Being closely connected to the company from its inception, she has witnessed every milestone and triumph in the HCR story so far.

Erin brings an enthusiasm and a vibrant energy to our team, and is happy to answer all your account questions and queries.

Drawing from her experiences as Dale’s better-half, she understands the essence of our company’s values and when not applying her trade as Director of a childcare centre she is busy looking after our HCR accounts.

Chris Lynn

A cricketing legend is a long-time racing tragic, and 'Lynny' has always been keen to take his passion for thoroughbred racing to the next level.  In partnership with HCR, Lynny promises to 'bring the fun' and help the team continue to build their reputation in the syndications game!

When he is not flying around the world smashing the leather out of the park he will be on track with the team to share the experience with owners and tell a few tales over a cold beer (or seltzer)!
